The Indian men's hockey team celebrated their bronze medal win at the recently concluded Paris Olympics with a roadshow in Bhubaneswar. This celebration was a momentous occasion as the team secured back-to-back bronze medals at the Olympics for the first time in 52 years.

Captain Harmanpreet Singh led the team to a 2-1 victory over Spain, marking a historic achievement under coach Craig Fulton. Speaking to ANI, Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey expressed gratitude to the Odisha government and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for their warm welcome and support.

"This grand welcome is a first for the Hockey team," said Tirkey. The Odisha government announced substantial cash rewards for the players and support staff. Sreejesh, in his final game, was visibly emotional as the team celebrated on the ground. Harmanpreet Singh became the tournament's top scorer with 10 goals, leading India to a distinguished finish on the medals tally.
