Indian shooter and double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker joined the celebrations at Velammal's "Vision for Olympic Medal 2032" launch in Chennai, showcasing her dance moves during the event. Bhaker previously made history at the Paris Olympics by becoming the first Indian to win two medals at a single edition of the games.

Manu Bhaker and her partner Sarabjot Singh clinched the bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event by defeating South Korea's Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin with a score of 16-10. Bhaker also secured India's first medal in the women's individual 10m Air Pistol event, marking a historic achievement as the first female shooter from India to win an Olympic medal.

In her final Olympic event, Bhaker narrowly missed winning her third medal, finishing fourth in the women's 25m pistol shooting event. She remains the first Indian athlete to win two medals at the Paris Olympics, highlighting her significant contribution to India's overall medal tally of six, which includes five bronzes and one silver. The performance of other Indian athletes, such as Neeraj Chopra in javelin throw and Aman Sehrawat in wrestling, also brought glory to the nation.
