Ireland's players soared in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's rankings following their ODI series triumph over Sri Lanka. With an unassailable 2-0 lead, Ireland secured the series victory.

Remarkable performances earned Orla Prendergast, Leah Paul, Amy Hunter, and Arlene Kelly significant boosts in the rankings. Prendergast climbed nine positions to secure the 28th spot after scoring an unbeaten century in the series opener. Paul moved up four places to 29th due to her Player of the Match performance in the second game. Hunter advanced ten spots to 34th. Among Sri Lankan players, Nilakshika Silva, Kavisha Dilhari, and Vishmi Gunaratne also improved their standings.

In the ODI bowler rankings, Kelly showed the most notable advancement, moving up three spots to 27th following a three-wicket haul. Dilhari rose to 30th in bowling and 17th in all-rounder rankings. In the T20I format, Prendergast and Dilhari both ascended two places in the all-rounder rankings, following commendable performances in the two-match series, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
