Tottenham Hotspur is making a move to acquire Dominic Solanke, a striker from Premier League rival Bournemouth.

Bournemouth's manager, Andoni Iraola, stated on Friday that "talks are ongoing" concerning Solanke's potential transfer to Tottenham.

"Right now, he is our player," Iraola said. "That is what I know. I cannot tell you much more."

Iraola highlighted Solanke's significance to the team, calling him a complete player who contributes beyond just goals. Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou was less revealing but acknowledged the team's need for more strikers.

Solanke's minor foot injury and his absence in a recent friendly match have intensified speculation about his future.

Bournemouth owner Bill Foley mentioned that Solanke's contract includes a release clause in the region of 65 million pounds (USD 83 million). Previously, Solanke had spells at Chelsea and Liverpool.
