Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, engaged in a dynamic video conference with National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from across India on Wednesday. An official release noted that the session aimed to recognize and motivate the youth contributing significantly to community service and nation-building.

The interaction forms part of a broader initiative by Mandaviya to involve youths in informed decision-making. He emphasized that the Union Budget 2024-25, presented in Parliament, is youth-centric, with Rs. 2 Lakh Crore earmarked for employment and skilling for over 4 Crore youth. The minister lauded the efforts of NSS volunteers in fostering social responsibility.

Mandaviya took feedback on the My Bharat portal, where volunteers shared their experiences and highlighted the usefulness of features such as the CV Builder and experiential learning courses. He mentioned that the platform serves as a comprehensive hub for youth engagement, aiming to empower them with resources and opportunities for personal growth and nation-building.
