Major IPS Reshuffle in Telangana
The Telangana government has undertaken a significant reshuffle of IPS officers. C V Anand is now the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, replacing Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, who has been assigned as DG, Vigilance and Enforcement. Several other officers have also been transferred and given new postings.

In an important move, the Telangana government has executed a major reshuffle of IPS officers. On Saturday, C V Anand, previously DG of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, was appointed as the new Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, succeeding Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy.
Following his transfer, Sreenivasa Reddy has been posted as the Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement. Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar, formerly the Additional DG of Police (Personnel), is now the DG of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Further changes include Mahesh M Bhagwat being placed in full additional charge of the Additional DG (Personnel and Welfare) and M Ramesh assuming full additional charge of IG of Police (Sports) roles, pending further orders.
