Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya engaged in a panel discussion on India's preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi on Friday. The session featured notable sports icons, including Olympic bronze medallist Ashok Dhyanchand and former World No. 1 double trap shooter Ronjan Sodhi.

Also present were Asian Games gold medallist Abhishek Verma, two-time Paralympics javelin throw champion Devendra Jhajharia, and Tokyo Paralympics silver medallist Yogesh Kathuniya. The event, organized by the Delhi Sports Journalists Association (DSJA) in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), aimed to discuss India's road to Paris.

Secretary of Sports Sujata Chaturvedi and CEO of Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) Commodore PK Garg attended the forum. Mandaviya emphasized the nation's ambition to become a global sports leader by 2047. Devendra Jhajharia expressed confidence in exceeding the 25-medal tally for the upcoming Games, with India sending a contingent of 117 athletes.
