The Pavilion End of the Trent Bridge will be officially named after former England pace legend Stuart Broad, in a ceremony ahead of the second Test between England and West Indies starting Wednesday. Broad, hailed as one of England's greatest bowlers, represented Nottinghamshire from 2008 to 2023.

Broad's international career spanned from 2006 to 2023, concluding with an Ashes Test against Australia in July last year. Over 344 matches, he claimed 847 wickets at an average of 27.83. In Tests, his tally of 604 wickets places him fifth for the format globally and second for England, only behind James Anderson.

The renaming ceremony will be held at 10:40 AM before the start of play, featuring the unveiling of a plaque at the 'Stuart Broad End'. Broad's father, Chris Broad, will also attend to honor the cricketing icon's achievements. England has made one change to their lineup for the second Test, with Mark Wood replacing the retired James Anderson.
