This marks the third leopard attack in the area within four months, intensifying local fears. The attack occurred hours after a visit by Divisional Forest Officer Puneet Tomar.

Efforts are underway by the forest department to capture the leopard, including deploying two shooters and installing cameras to monitor its movements.
