A grim incident unfolded in Lalitpur district, Uttar Pradesh, where a six-year-old boy was allegedly strangled to death by his grandfather, reportedly over dissatisfaction with his son's remarriage.

Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mushtaq confirmed the incident, describing the circumstances leading to the tragic event. Late Sunday, authorities received a report about a child's suspicious death in Gidvar village.

Upon investigation, police discovered the boy's life was taken with a rope, reportedly by his grandfather, Pritam. The arrest has been made, and the case is now proceeding through legal channels.
