A devastating landslide occurred on Monday evening near Munkatiya on the Kedarnath National Highway, claiming one life and injuring two others. The State and National Disaster Response Forces swiftly initiated a rescue operation. The body of the deceased has been recovered and the injured were hospitalized.

A landslide on the Kedarnath National Highway claimed one life and injured two others near Munkatiya on Monday evening, officials report.
The incident, which took place around 7.20 pm, saw immediate response from the State Disaster Response Force and the National Disaster Response Force, according to District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar.
Rescue teams successfully pulled a body from the debris and transported two injured individuals to a hospital in Sonprayag.
