Three individuals, including a teenage boy, lost their lives in separate rain-related incidents across Delhi within 24 hours, officials confirmed. The tragedies occurred in Ranjeet Nagar, Chanakyapuri, and Prem Nagar.

In Ranjeet Nagar, a woman named Seema, 40, who ironed clothes for a living, was electrocuted after stepping into a waterlogged street. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was declared dead. Seema is survived by her husband and two children. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy drowned in rainwater near The British School in Chanakyapuri. Police suspect he became stuck under a parked car while playing with friends.

A 50-year-old man, Sanjay, was also electrocuted in Prem Nagar, Rohini, after slipping into accumulated water outside his home. Heavy rain led to significant waterlogging across Delhi, with multiple complaints received by the police and Public Works Department. A school in Rohini was submerged, forcing students to climb atop desks. Efforts to clear waterlogged areas are ongoing.
