In the wake of relentless rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada is grappling with severe waterlogging, resulting in flood-like conditions across several areas. On Monday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu personally assessed the affected regions.

Aerial footage highlights the extent of flooding in the city. CM Naidu informed ANI that the government has deployed 110 boats to deliver food and medical aid, emphasizing his continuous oversight of the crisis. He reassured residents that command and control centers are being established to manage the situation efficiently. The Budameru Canal and Singhnagar are among the worst-hit, with rising water levels intensifying the crisis.

Further, CM Naidu visited flood-ravaged Singhnagar, directing officials to ensure the distribution of food and water. He pledged to operate from the NTR district Collector's office until the situation improves, affirming that the administration is providing all necessary support. The relentless rain, expected to continue for four more days in parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, poses ongoing challenges.
