At least 10 people were killed and one was missing in landslides and flood-related incidents in Tripura since Sunday, officials confirmed.
The state has witnessed an unprecedented flood situation, with over 32,750 people displaced and taking shelter in 330 relief camps due to heavy rainfall, the government reported on Wednesday.
Following a plea from Chief Minister Manik Saha to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, four additional teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) arrived in the state to aid in the ongoing rescue missions amidst over 1,900 landslides that have interrupted road connectivity.
