Intermittent isolated rains today elevated water levels in rivers such as Manimala and Pamba. Orange alerts predict very heavy rainfall between 11 cm to 20 cm.

Authorities have advised residents, particularly those in vulnerable areas and dilapidated houses, to exercise caution and relocate if necessary to safer locations.
