Tragic Landslide Incident in Nepal: Indian National's Body Recovered

Rescuers in Nepal have recovered the body of Rishi Pal Shahi, an Indian national, after two buses were swept into the Trishuli River by a mudslide. The buses, carrying 54 passengers, went missing in Chitwan district amidst heavy rains. Search operations continue for more missing persons.

In a tragic incident in Nepal, rescuers recovered the body of Rishi Pal Shahi, an Indian national, from the Narayani River, 50 kilometers from the site where two buses were swept away by a mudslide.

The buses, carrying 54 passengers including seven Indians, went missing along the Narayanghat-Mugling road in Chitwan district on Friday.

Despite the efforts of more than 500 security personnel, the search for other missing passengers continues amidst challenging conditions triggered by extreme weather events in the region.
