BJP President JP Nadda on Friday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of lacking basic understanding of the Constitution, particularly on the issue of religious-based reservations. Nadda argued that Gandhi's approach ignores Dr. Ambedkar's stance and misleads the public.
Nadda further alleged that the Congress plans to divert quotas allocated for SCs, STs, and OBCs to minorities in regions such as Karnataka and Telangana. He emphasized the importance of avoiding appeasement and vote bank politics, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been impartial in governance.
Nadda praised Modi for fostering development and ensuring accountability, contrasting it with Congress's repeated promises and lack of clear agendas. He highlighted infrastructure achievements and India's role as a global pharmacy, referencing the swift vaccine rollout during the COVID-19 pandemic as a testament to Modi's effective leadership.
