In a strong display of political aggression, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, acting as BJP co-in-charge for Jharkhand assembly polls, launched a scathing critique against Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Sarma accused Soren's administration of failing the people, claiming widespread discontent and fatigue with the current government.
Sarma further challenged Soren to publicly commit to removing infiltrators from Jharkhand, expressing confidence that such a commitment would consolidate victory for the BJP in the imminent Assembly elections. Amidst rising tensions, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo leveled fresh allegations concerning discrepancies in Soren's nomination papers.
Highlighting perceived inconsistencies over the years, Deo questioned changes in Soren's age and assets between 2021 and 2024 nominations. As election tensions build, Sarma castigated Soren and his wife for alleged familial prioritization, affirming BJP's focus on statewide welfare, anticipating a decisive electoral triumph.
