In a spirited critique, Congress leader Sachin Pilot lambasted the BJP and its allies, claiming they have little to show for their tenure in Maharashtra. Pilot countered the BJP's seemingly divisive slogan, ''batoge toh katoge'', with his educational mantra ''padoge toh badoge'' during an interview Friday.
As the face of the Congress in Marathwada for the assembly elections, Pilot showcased the Maha Vikas Aghadi's manifesto, emphasizing commitments like caste-based census, increased reservations, and financial support for women and farmers. He insists these promises outshine the BJP's pre-poll pledges, arguing they represent a truly progressive platform.
Further criticizing the BJP's use of historical figures in campaigns, Pilot accused the ruling party of lacking innovation and performance. According to him, the MVA offers voters a holistic blueprint for governance, challenging the politics of fear and division. He remains open to debates on peace and development, confident in the Congress's positive agenda.
