In a rally at Kankavli, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray delivered a scathing critique against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing the BJP of instigating the exodus of industrial projects from Maharashtra to Gujarat. Thackeray called for action against 'corruption' responsible for the collapse of Shivaji Maharaj's statue.
Positioning the upcoming polls as a clash between 'Maharashtra premi and Maharashtra drohi,' Thackeray also launched attacks on Narayan Rane and his sons, urging their electoral defeat. He opposed the proposed refinery project at Barsu, citing ecological threats, and assured a ban on the flight of projects if elected.
Thackeray pressed upon the need for coalition unity within the Maha Vikas Aghadi, addressing internal election tensions while slamming BJP's political tactics.
