In a fervent election campaign move, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spotlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led government as he rallied support for BJP and its allies ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Dhami canvassed for BJP's Ashish Shelar in Mumbai's Bandra West constituency, addressing a vocal election rally.
During the event, CM Dhami lauded Prime Minister Modi's leadership, which he credited with transformative development projects in Maharashtra and Uttarakhand, such as national highway expansions and the ongoing Mumbai-Delhi Expressway. "In Maharashtra, over 50 lakh citizens have reaped benefits from schemes like Ujjwala and the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana," he emphasized, underscoring Uttarakhand's improved connectivity.
Dhami highlighted the central government's accomplishments, mentioning the Mumbai Coastal Road and India's longest sea bridge to boost western coastal infrastructure. He pointed to BJP's track record with historic initiatives, including the removal of Article 370 and the Ram Temple construction, while critiquing the opposition's "corruption and nepotism."
