Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami delivered a rallying speech in Mumbai, advocating for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly votes. Dhami underscored the unity felt through the "Sanskrit of the hills," fostering a sense of belonging and urging voters to back BJP's Rajan Naik and Sneha Dubey.
The chief minister emphasized that the "god-like people of Uttarakhand" will support BJP nominees, inspiring attendees to cast ballots resoundingly in favor of Naik and Dubey. Praising Prime Minister Modi's leadership, Dhami said, "India's respect has risen globally" and noted the swift progress of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project.
He criticized the opposition for promoting "anti-women" policies and hindering the Ram temple's construction, a dream for many Indians. Dhami contrasted this by highlighting Maharashtra's developmental strides under BJP leaders, positioning the party as a bastion against corruption. With elections slated for November 20, the BJP aims to thwart MVA's bid for power.
