Uddhav Thackeray, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, has called for the people to avenge the fall of a statue of Shivaji Maharaj, attributing its collapse to corruption. He urges voters to remove the ruling alliance in upcoming elections as a response.
During a rally in Kankavli, Thackeray launched a fierce criticism of Union Home Minister Amit Shah over Maharashtra's industrial project exodus to Gujarat and questioned Shah's development agenda. Pledging to prevent such project transfers if elected, he underscored his opposition to the proposed Barsu refinery due to ecological concerns.
Thackeray also targeted Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg BJP MP Narayan Rane and his sons, citing their history of violence in the region. The Shiv Sena (UBT) chief rallied against BJP's alleged efforts to eliminate his party and urged coalition partners to prioritize Maharashtra's interests over personal ambitions.
