BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a sharp attack on Congress's national president, Mallikarjun Kharge, and the party, accusing them of disrespecting Indian culture. He highlighted that the BJP has taken significant action against terrorists, corrupt individuals, and extortionists. Chugh questioned the nature of Congress's relationship with those involved in these activities, asking why Congress appears disturbed by such actions.

The allegations come in response to Kharge's recent remarks against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Without naming him directly, Kharge criticized leaders who present themselves as 'sadhus' but have transitioned into political roles, targeting Adityanath, who holds a dual role as Gorakhnath Math's head priest.

Kharge further condemned Adityanath's 'batoge toh katogey' slogan for inciting Hindu unity and accused him of spreading division and hate. Chugh also addressed comments from Rahul Gandhi about possibly ending reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBCs, claiming Congress's history is riddled with attempts to fragment India's social fabric.
