In a fiery address ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance of threatening communal and property stability. Speaking in Achalpur, Amravati, he stressed the strict governance in Uttar Pradesh against 'Land Jihad' and other divisive tactics.
He warned voters against division, asserting that practices like love and land jihad are now a thing of the past in his state. Adityanath also criticized previous UP administrations for allegedly sheltering criminal elements, stating that these mafias are now vanquished.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Sachin Pilot countered by accusing BJP of fear-mongering. As election day for Maharashtra's 288 seats approaches, the political rivalry between ruling Mahayuti and opposition MVA looms large. Key issues like education and inflation dominate discourse, as voters prepare for the November 20 polls.
