In a sharp critique ahead of the November 20 Maharashtra assembly elections, Supriya Sule, working president of the NCP (SP), has lambasted the ruling BJP and its allies for deep-rooted corruption.
Sule alleged on Monday that the BJP was guilty of insulting Maharashtra's revered icons and spreading manipulated historical narratives.
As the Lok Sabha member from Baramati sees it, the ruling party has nothing substantial to criticize the opposition with, given their own mired state of corruption. Meanwhile, Sule highlighted the NCP and Congress's track record of farmer support and dismissed claims of copied schemes.
