In a pointed critique, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi took aim at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the BJP for their 'vote jihad-Dharmayuddha' rhetoric, calling it a distortion of democratic values.
Owaisi alleged that slogans like PM Modi's 'Ek Hai to Safe Hai' betray the ethos of diversity, a core component of India's identity. He further accused Fadnavis's ideological predecessors of colluding with colonial powers, pointing out their alleged 'love letters' to the British.
Addressing a rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Owaisi urged the electorate to vote in the November elections, promising that a win in Aurangabad would resonate across India. The AIMIM leader remains steadfast in his opposition to BJP narratives, which he claims undermine the country's pluralism.
