In a recent rally in Solapur, Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, took a jibe at the BJP regarding its narrative on Article 370's abrogation. Thackeray questioned Prime Minister Modi on the actual resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in their homeland, a key point touted by the BJP since the provision's removal in 2019.
Criticizing BJP's election campaign strategy, Thackeray noted that Maharashtra's pressing issues, such as farmer woes and unemployment, were sidelined in favor of rhetoric on national matters like Article 370 and the Ram Temple. He emphasized that local expectations remain unmet.
Directing his criticism towards Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Thackeray urged an end to political posturing. Citing instances of violence in Manipur, he demanded real action and accountability from BJP's top leadership, questioning their priorities ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra polls scheduled for November 20.
