Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma pledged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will create 1.5 lakh jobs in Jharkhand if the party wins the state polls. This declaration was made during a public gathering supporting BJP and its allies' candidates.
Sarma criticized the ruling Hemant Soren-led coalition government for corruption and exploitation of mineral resources, calling for a CBI investigation into recent examination paper leaks. He condemned the Jharkhand administration for failing to deliver essential services, alleging that it is run by 'infiltrators, mafia, and brokers'.
Sarma emphasized the BJP's commitment to focusing on public welfare, and accused the Soren government of prioritizing personal interests and allowing demographic changes through alleged infiltration. He urged voters to support the BJP for the state's comprehensive development.
