In a breakthrough amid ongoing discussions, Tejashwi Yadav confirmed that the INDIA bloc has finalized a consensus on seat-sharing for the forthcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. The announcement comes as a significant development following critical remarks from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma regarding Yadav's influence within the alliance.

Yadav, who serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly, emphasized the unity of the INDIA bloc and expressed confidence that Hemant Soren will continue as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He stated that RJD's allocation of seats would be disclosed shortly, reiterating the bloc's commitment to contesting the elections collectively.

Amidst the political developments, Yadav accused the BJP of undermining Jharkhand, describing the party as "anti-constitution and anti-reservation." The Jharkhand assembly elections are scheduled to occur in two phases, on November 13 and 20, with vote counting slated for November 23.
