New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) - Four days into his hunger strike, Sonam Wangchuk was visited by a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) member who offered support and provided mosquito repellent.

Wangchuk and his supporters, camped at Ladakh Bhawan, have yet to meet a central government representative. Despite the lack of official engagement, a BJP leader delivered a message that emphasized justice beyond party lines. Protesters, some experiencing low blood pressure, demand Ladakh's inclusion in the sixth schedule of the Constitution.

The group's demands include statehood, a public service commission, and separate parliamentary seats. The Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance spearheaded the march, seeking dialogue with leaders like Prime Minister Modi.
