Mohammad Fayaz Takes Unassailable Lead in Kupwara Assembly Race
Mohammad Fayaz, representing the People's Democratic Party, leads the Kupwara assembly race, surpassing opponents Nasir Aslam Wani of the National Conference and People's Conference leader Sajad Gani Lone. Fayaz has secured a commanding lead with 26,941 votes, leaving Wani with 17,513 votes and Lone far behind.

In the latest updates from the Kupwara assembly seat elections, Mohammad Fayaz of the People's Democratic Party has established a commanding lead over his rivals. Fayaz, the former Rajya Sabha member, is significantly ahead of National Conference's Nasir Aslam Wani.
Sajad Gani Lone, leader of the People's Conference contesting from Kupwara and Handwara seats, is trailing behind at a distant third position. Fayaz's vote count stands strong at 26,941, leaving Lone lagging by over 19,000 votes.
With only one round of counting remaining, Peerzada Firdous Ahmad, close confidant of Engineer Rashid, has managed just 4,499 votes, compared to the frontrunner Fayaz's impressive tally.
