Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reiterated the ruling CPI(M) party's commitment to opposing all forms of communalism during a public address on Tuesday.

The statement comes in response to recent allegations by dissident MLA P V Anvar, who claimed that certain CPI(M) leaders were moving closer to the RSS and accused them of non-secular behavior. Anvar has also alleged irregularities in the handling of gold smuggling and hawala cases.

Vijayan dismissed Anvar's accusations as delusional, stating that the government would continue strict measures against illegal activities. He also mentioned that a probe has been initiated, reinforcing that the government's actions are in the nation's best interest.
