Man Arrested for Selling Rented Vehicles
Akash Brijesh Singh was arrested for allegedly selling off rented vehicles. He rented multiple cars and motorbikes, including from Satyajit Inder Rathod and his acquaintances, claiming they were for a film shoot. Singh disappeared with the vehicles, leading to a theft and fraud case against him. Police have recovered 26 out of 28 vehicles and further investigation is underway.

In a startling case of fraud, the Mumbai police have arrested Akash Brijesh Singh for allegedly selling off rented vehicles.
According to police sources, Singh managed to sell at least 28 vehicles, of which 26 have been recovered so far. Singh orchestrated the scam by approaching Satyajit Inder Rathod and his acquaintances, claiming he needed vehicles for a film shoot. Singh then disappeared after renting four vehicles from them.
A case of theft and fraud has been registered against Singh by the Malwani police. Singh has confessed to renting vehicles from multiple people and selling them in states such as Goa and Gujarat. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
