Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a severe critique against the opposition BJP, accusing their leaders of frequently visiting the state only for vote-bank politics as the assembly polls approach.
Soren emphasized that while BJP helicopters hover over Jharkhand, his administration is busy implementing development projects worth Rs 1,241 crore in Bokaro, Ramgarh, and Hazaribagh. He accused the BJP of not caring for the needs of the tribals and the poor, focusing solely on votes.
He also alleged that a massive conspiracy had been hatched to destabilize the JMM-led government using central agencies, but affirmed that development work continues despite challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Soren detailed various schemes aimed at benefiting all sections of society, including employment policies for locals in private institutions, support for displaced people, and educational assistance.
