Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Wednesday lauded his father, former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, as the most accepted leader in the state, emphasizing his leadership during the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking at the India Today Conclave, Aaditya highlighted Uddhav's recognition among the people of Maharashtra, especially in hinterlands and farmlands, crediting him for standing by them during challenging times.

Aaditya, affirming that Uddhav Thackeray should be considered as the chief ministerial face if the MVA alliance performs well in forthcoming elections, criticized BJP's principles and affirmed the MVA's commitment to preserve Maharashtrian pride and win the electoral battle against BJP's perceived misgovernance.
