A man in a village allegedly killed his 45-year-old brother-in-law by slitting his throat in a fight over money, police said on Tuesday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Sanjay Kumar reported that Morpal Yadav, resident of Lilthra Gautia village, was asleep outside his home when he was attacked. Family members have accused Yadav's brother-in-law, Aaram Singh, and an associate named Sanjay of the crime, citing a financial dispute as the motive.

According to the family, Yadav and Singh were involved in arranging marriages for a fee, which led to a financial dispute. Authorities have registered a murder case against the suspects and are actively searching to apprehend them.
