Leopard Attack Claims Seventh Victim in Udaipur: Authorities Spring into Action

A deadly leopard attack claimed another victim in Udaipur district, Rajasthan, on Tuesday, forest officials reported.
This recent incident brought the grim toll of leopard-related fatalities in the area to seven, highlighting a growing concern for local residents.
The victim, Kamla Kanwar, aged around 55, was feeding her livestock when the leopard struck. Despite her family's desperate attempts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries, according to forest officials.
Pavan Kumar Upadhyay, Principal Chief Wildlife Warden, stated that instructions had been issued to track and kill the man-eater leopard.
The forest department, police, and Army have surrounded the affected area, intensifying their efforts to secure the community.
