Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday accused the Congress, National Conference, and PDP of furthering 'Pakistan's agenda' by advocating for the restoration of Article 370. He asserted that a vote for the BJP would be a 'befitting reply' to Pakistan.
Addressing his fifth election rally in Jammu, Shah referred to Pakistani defence minister Khawaja Asif's statement that Pakistan and the NC-Congress alliance share similar views on Article 370. He lambasted the Congress, urging it to feel ashamed. Shah warned that terrorism would return if the NC-Congress alliance came to power in J&K, emphasizing the importance of the latest polls being held without two separate flags and constitutions.
Shah criticized the NC manifesto supported by Congress and called on voters to reject it. He stressed that Articles 370 and 35A were firmly part of history, while affirming the unity under the tricolor flag. Urging support for BJP candidates, Shah highlighted developmental milestones achieved in J&K and assured the continuation of peace and development under BJP's governance.
