Zimbabwean cricket captain Sikandar Raza has expressed confidence that a player from Zimbabwe will outshine seasoned cricketer David Warner in the ongoing Zim Afro T10 tournament. Warner, known for his aggressive batting, is now set to showcase his skills at the picturesque Harare Sports Club.

Raza is optimistic about the performance of Zimbabwean cricketers in the second edition of the Zim Afro T10, striving for a high-quality tournament with numerous international stars, including Warner. 'What I'm really hoping and praying for is that it's a Zimbabwean who scores the most number of runs, takes the most number of catches, and takes the most number of wickets,' he asserted, emphasizing the importance of the tournament for the growth of Zimbabwean cricket.

The tournament features major signings like Dawid Malan, James Neesham, and Colin Munro. Notably, Zimbabwean pacer Blessing Muzarabani has been recognized as a Global Icon for the NYS Lagos. 'Blessing has done really well over the past year and has earned that right,' Raza said. He also encouraged young Zimbabwean players to embrace the opportunity to learn from international stars during the tournament, which he sees as a format poised for Olympic inclusion.
