Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has categorically denied the Congress's claims that the ruling CPI(M) and the Left government have a connection with the RSS, dismissing the allegations as unworthy of consideration.
During a programme organised by the CPI(M) in Kovalam, Vijayan emphasized that such baseless accusations would not tarnish the reputation of the LDF government.
The controversy arises as Congress mounts pressure over a senior IPS officer's meeting with RSS leaders, accusing the Chief Minister of being aware of the meeting. Vijayan countered by stating that it was the Congress leaders who had historically aided the RSS's growth in the country.
