Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the recent general elections in India were not contested on a level playing field, which, according to him, has shattered the concept of 'Modi'.

Gandhi, who is currently visiting the United States, made these assertions at Georgetown University. Addressing the event, Gandhi claimed the ruling coalition has fallen apart. 'It's not just the prime minister, it's deeper than that,' he said, referring to the supposed breakdown.

He further accused the election process of being unfair and heavily controlled, suggesting that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had significant financial and procedural advantages. 'The Election Commission was biased, and the entire campaign was designed to favor Modi,' Gandhi alleged.
