Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has launched a scathing attack on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Amit Shah, claiming even after 100 births, Fadnavis wouldn't comprehend Sharad Pawar's plans. Raut accused Shah and Prime Minister Modi of orchestrating political and familial splits in Maharashtra.

Raut's comments about Shah's visit to Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh idol and his criticism over the handling of the COVID-19 restrictions during the Ganesh festival were met with sharp rebuttals from BJP's Ashish Shelar. Shelar demanded an apology from Uddhav Thackeray, highlighting the cessation of public Ganesh celebrations under Thackeray's tenure.

Shelar called out Raut for overstepping decency by criticizing Shah and for his controversial remarks about relocating Lalbaugcha Raja. Highlighting Fadnavis's contributions, Shelar emphasized BJP's disinterest in delving into others' intentions, asserting the need to focus on Maharashtra's progress.
