India's Stance: Dialogue with Pakistan Conditional on Ending Terrorism

In a significant statement during an election rally in Ramban, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted India's readiness to engage in dialogue with Pakistan, contingent upon Pakistan halting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Singh, campaigning for BJP candidate Mohd Saleem Bhat, highlighted the revocation of Article 370 as a move to alleviate the suffering of the people in the region and to drive prosperity.
The Defense Minister further emphasized that the peace and relations with Pakistan are a top priority, but they must first terminate their support for terrorism to initiate diplomatic conversations.
