Two ex-Goa MLAs who ran in the 2022 state Assembly elections on AAP tickets have accused a party volunteer of giving them cash for campaign expenses, per the CBI's chargesheet in the Delhi excise policy case.

The agency claims that out of Rs 90-100 crore in corrupt funds provided by the 'South Group' to influence the excise policy, Rs 44.5 crore was sent to Goa for electoral expenses.

In its fifth supplementary chargesheet, the CBI implicates Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi MLA Durgesh Pathak, AAP's Goa polling in-charge, in the misuse of these illicit funds for election-related spending.
