On Friday, the BJP released a comprehensive manifesto for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, unveiling 25 key guarantees. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced the manifesto during his visit to kick-start the party's election campaign.
Crucial promises include issuing a white paper to ensure accountability for terrorism victims and restoring 100 ruined temples in Kashmir. The BJP also focused on the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits alongside employment opportunities, aiming to create five lakh jobs.
Addressing economic development, the BJP aims to establish an IT hub in Jammu city, a pharmaceutical park in Udhampur, and an AYUSH Herbal park in Kishtwar. The party vows to enhance education, reduce electricity tariffs for agriculture, and support marginalised communities, promising comprehensive socio-economic growth in the region.
