Congress leader Kumari Selja on Monday accused the BJP of neglecting Haryana over the past decade, suggesting the state's problems have only multiplied under its governance. She pointed out that issues like water logging, traffic jams, scarcity of drinking water, and blocked sewers are rampant, affecting both small and large cities.
Selja also underscored a deteriorating law-and-order situation, rejecting the ruling party's development claims. She argued that the BJP has been more destructive than constructive, leaving the state grappling with a lack of basic amenities. This, she says, is not the development the public wants.
With Haryana heading to the polls on October 5, Selja emphasized that the BJP's empty promises and false declarations have left the public disillusioned. She criticized the party for renaming existing schemes and playing divisive politics, which she attributes to the widespread protests among farmers and employees.
