Congress veteran Kamal Nath has raised concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in Madhya Pradesh, a state governed by the BJP. He has cited multiple incidents of robbery and violence against women across different regions, including Ujjain and Chattarpur.
The former chief minister voiced his concerns to reporters, stating, "The law and order situation has totally collapsed." Nath believes this issue is widespread throughout the state.
When questioned about the possibility of taking up a significant post in the Congress organization, Nath insisted that location is inconsequential to his commitment. "I will continue as an active worker of the party," he asserted. Additionally, he addressed the delay in forming the Madhya Pradesh Congress executive committee, attributing it to the complex nature of the state's political landscape.
