A three-member Congress committee arrived in Jharkhand's capital, Ranchi, on Saturday to review preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, according to a party official.
The panel is conducting meetings with key figures, including state president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh and Congress legislature party leader Rameshwar Oraon, among others.
The committee's evaluation covers various aspects such as political and social equations and geographical conditions across different assembly constituencies. Discussions regarding the probable candidates that the party will nominate for the elections are also taking place. The committee is scheduled to meet district presidents and heads of corporations and commissions at the Congress Bhawan on Sunday.
