Shiv Sena Health Minister Tanaji Sawant has sparked controversy by openly criticizing his NCP allies, revealing deep fissures within Maharashtra's ruling Mahayuti coalition. Speaking at an event in Dharashiv, Sawant stated that sitting next to NCP members during cabinet meetings made him feel nauseous.

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Sawant's comments. Party spokesperson Umesh Patil called for Sawant's removal or suggested that the NCP quit the coalition altogether.
